It's the late 1870s, and Lizzy Sullivan is struggling to understand why God hasn't healed her little brother David. Then one night, tragedy strikes Lizzy's family when their rural home burns down. There is a sequel to this book which I loved more; called At the Journey’s End. I love the main characters (Abe is one of them). I believe that struggling and giving needed service is the best way to come close to someone. This story is a great example of that. I can’t really say what I really loved about the book because it will give the ending away. I was sad when this book ended becasue I miss the Characters.
