I just thought it would be fun to keep a list of books I have read.

Book Rating Scale:
1 = If there is nothing else to read - Okey read it.
2 = There are some really good parts.
3 = There are some really good parts and l learned something
from reaidng it. I liked the book.
4 = I loved the book
5 = At the top of my list. I couldn't put the book down and I
would consider rereading it.

The Sunflower – by Richard Paul Evans.


Just a week before their marriage, Christine's fiance calls off the wedding, leaving her heartbroken. With hopes of helping her through a difficult time, Christine's best friend Jessica enrolls them both on a humanitarian mission in Peru, to work at an orphange called El Girasol - The Sunflower. It is there that Christine meets Paul Cook, a successful American doctor who has fled the States after one fatal day took away his career, his faith, and the woman he loved. Unplanned events lead Paul and Christine into the jungle of the Amazon, where Christine must confront her deepest fears, and she and Paul both must learn to trust and love again. (I didn't write that - but it tells you what it's about.) Yes I loved the book. It's an easy read. Evens named this book after a Orphangage he help start in Peru.
